After entering the 21st century, the world has begun to undergo tremendous changes in all aspects. University education and the relationship between universities and society have also undergone revolutionary changes.

When we re-examine the role of universities in society, we are also more concerned about how universities can more actively participate in and care about the changes in the world; and how to support our youth to speculate our future more intelligently and partake in sustainable-driven development.

We are honored to invite Dr. Wen Huei Chou, from Centre for Sustainable Development & Social Practice, National Yunlin University of Science & Technology, Taiwan to share their experience in the topic of USR transformation of university governance: a shift from community building to sustainable-driven development.
